In-Office Naturopathic Medicine and Naturopathic Acupuncture

Naturopathic Medicine treats many non-urgent health concerns with a variety of treatment options. We also offer many common prescription medication refills and lab testing when required. Dr Fraser holds extra certifications in, including but not limited to, Acupuncture, Immunization and Prescriptive Authority.

Naturopathic Medicine treats many non-urgent health concerns with a variety of treatment options. This is a great way to have a consultation if you cannot make it into the office or are unwell and still need to follow up. Dr Fraser holds extra certifications in, including but not limited to, Acupuncture, Immunization and Prescriptive Authority and is therefore able to provide refills for many common prescription medication when required. If patient are requiring lab work, requisitions can be faxed to the Lab for standard blood work.

Dr. Janine Fraser ND

Dr Fraser ND, originally completed nine years of formal post secondary education, including four years spent training at naturopathic college (www.binm.org). Prior to being licensed to practice as a naturopathic doctor since the fall of 2007.

She has been practicing in Langford since 2008, since she opened West Shore Family Naturopathic Ltd., she is thankful for all of the kind referrals from previous and current patients. “I love practicing in the Westshore and am thankful for all of the kind patients who we have had the privilege to serve over the years.”

Her motto is “one patient at a time”, with the goal of meeting the needs of each patient and providing safe and effective care. We welcome everyone from children (7 weeks and up) and families, to the most complex chronic cases needing adjunctive care.

Some patients are looking for primary care and prescription refills, while others come for complimentary care and to have Dr Fraser as part of their healthcare team.

In addition to her N.D. credential Dr Fraser also holds a Chartered Herbalist Diploma from Dominion Herbal College (www.dominionherbalcollege.com), an Associate of Science Degree (biology) from Camosun College (www.camosun.ca) and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Victoria (www.uvic.ca), where she focused on life sciences, botany, and premed electives, graduating “With Distinction” in 2002. She continues to stay on top of current science with frequent regular continuing education.

Dr Fraser treats a variety of non-urgent, acute and chronic conditions and works with her patients to identify and treat the underlying cause of their health issues. She treats a variety of patients of all ages. Proudly practicing in Langford for over 12+ yrs.

At West Shore Family Naturopathic Ltd. we give you options, working with each patient and the current science to create a treatment plan individualized for each patients’ care.

Dr Fraser has a special interest in Thyroid, Hormones, Allergies and how these conditions affect Perimenopause, Menopause and Brain Health. She also treats a variety of conditions too long to list.

Dr Fraser also holds extra certifications in Immunization, Prescriptive Authority, Acupuncture and Facial Mesotherapy and IV therapy.
